“School of Distinction”

Congratulations, as our High School was presented with a School of Distinction Award in recognition of outstanding performance in state reading and math assessments for the 2013 school year. The Schools of Distinction Award goes to the top 5% of Washington schools that have attained the most outstanding levels of reading and math improvement among their students over the past 5 years. Kittitas Secondary was one of 99 schools in the state of Washington earning this esteemed honor. Kittitas Secondary previously received a School of Distinction Award in 2009. Although this award was earned based on high school test scores, it is the hard work and dedication of all the teachers in our district K-12 and the drive and focus of our students that make achievements such as these possible. ESD 105 Superintendent Steve Meyers presented our school and Superintendent Monty Sabin with a plaque and banner at a formal assembly on October 23rd.

                                                  Congratulations Coyotes!
