To provide immediate help for students in need

Would you like to "help promising young people at critical times in their lives?" The InvestED Fund has a Challenge Grant Program you can be a part of.

Here's how a YOU can participate in the challenge (matching) grant program:

1.     Decide on an Amount. InvestED will match whatever a school raises up to an amount that is one half of the school's August grant that year. For example, if the school received a $500 grant in August, the Foundation will match whatever the school raises throughout the year up to a maximum of $250. Schools are not limited in the amount of donations they wish to raise. However, because of budget considerations, InvestED must limit its match to one-half of the August grant amount.

2.     Raise the Money. In the past, schools have solicited their local businesses, luncheon clubs and local PTA's, Kiwanis, Rotary and school alumni which are all good resources. Some schools have involved their student body or a school club in raising funds.

 3.     Make a Deposit. Checks must be made payable to the school and be deposited into their InvestED School Fund checking account. Occasionally a donor may want to donate directly to InvestED for a specific school. This is not a problem. Donors may contribute to InvestED directly or contribute online designating their school of choice. Thank you letters go out to the donor and the school is notified within one week of receiving a donation.
